Enlisting the services of Australian chef David Thompson, a leading authority on Thai cookery, and fêted French designer Christian Liagre, Yau set out to take Thai food in a stylish setting to the masses. Shared seating around square wooden tables met an affordable menu of updated takes on classic Thai flavours in a setting that managed to capture the spirit of old Siam, whilst remaining unmistakably modern.
